This steel hive cradle makes lifting a full super or entire hive a breeze spreading the load across two people and using leverage to make it easier. Its constructed of steel with a powder coat finish.
The lifter works by either locking into the handle holds or under the lifting cleats so as long as it is similar dimensions to a standard timber langstroth hive and has cleats or handle holes it will work.
You do not need a strap to use it and we have never used one with ours and it's not included in the set.
