6-frame Konigin honey extractor tangential semi-automatic electric drive

We've been searching for a sturdy, well-made brand of extraction equipment for a while, to replace the often flimsy Chinese-made units. When we saw Thorne in the UK was stocking these Polish-made Konigin units we just had to have them, because Thorne are a respected company with more than 100 years' in the industry; they even make their own extractors! So to stock a competitor's product, it must be good!
The way tangential honey extractors work is the frames sit with the flat part of the frame facing out, supported by a mesh screen. While you do need to rotate the frames to do both sides, we've found this sort of extractor is great at extracting some of the very thick honey we get from our hives, whereas a radial extractor would just destroy the frames due to the force placed on the wax.
These units feature a bottom-mounted motor and semi-automatic controller to make them easy to use, and to keep clean and food safe. Bottom-mount motors and semi-automatic controllers are normally only found on larger commercial units. The honey gates are mounted at the actual bottom of the drum making emptying easy.
With legs running the full length of the drum these are very stable.
Takes 6 full depth and 12 ideal frames
