A Bee Escape is a one-way door that allows workers to leave the honey super and return to the brood nest. The board foils their attempts to re-enter the super. Escape/Clearer Boards can be used before extracting honey - place an Escape/Clearer Board below your super of honeycomb 24 hours before you plan to harvest honey and the super will be mostly empty on your return.
