Gum Rosin is used to add flexibility and tackiness to beeswax cloth wraps and has other uses where tackiness is needed like violin bows or Surf board wax. To make wraps you need about 5g of gum per 20g of beeswax.

Gum Rosin is NOT classified as a hazardous or dangerous substance, and does not require any special labelling. 

It melts at about the same temperature as beeswax (80c) so you can crunch up these chunks and add them to your wax or put them in a bag and smash them into a powder using a rolling pin or hammer.
