Just like bottom boards for the famous Apimaye Hive, these Type-G bottom boards are multifunction being equipped with a Pest Tray so Varroa, SHB and wax moth/grubs that fall through the base on to the Pest Tray are stuck in the drawer and cannot return to the hive when the Pest Tray is used with a sticky mat or is coated with a light film of canola oil.
