Oxalic acid has numerous uses.

• Mineral contamination of water frequently cases a buildup of scale that restricts water flow and production, clogging pumps and pipes.  High purity Oxalic acid can be used as a scale, rust and calcium remover in such situations.
• Other applications include: dying processes, for making cleaning liquids, for electrical instruments, for deposition and separation of rare-earth metals, water treatment, bleaching, especially for pulpwood, cleaning and restoration timber.
